I absolutely love fudge. Especially if it’s chocolate fudge.
Today, I bring you a quick and easy recipe for my Chocolate Fudge! This fudge only requires 4 ingredients, and you only need one bowl and a spatula.
You can make this deliciously creamy Chocolate Fudge two ways. In a large bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, or in the microwave. If you make this fudge in the microwave, be sure to stir after every 20 – 30 second interval, to prevent the chocolate from burning and seizing up.

Easy Chocolate Fudge
Incredibly easy and deliciously creamy chocolate fudge that only requires 4 ingredients to make!
- 3 cups good quality milk or dark chocolate 520g, finely chopped
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14oz/397g
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 30g
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
Place the chocolate, condensed milk, butter, and vanilla in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat. The mixture will be very thick.
Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, and smooth out the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 - 4 hours until firm.
Microwave: To make the fudge in the microwave, simply add all the ingredients to a large heat-proof bowl, and heat on high, stirring every 20 - 30 seconds, until the chocolate has completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, and smooth out the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 - 4 hours until firm.
Fudge can be stored, in an airtight container, in the fridge for up to 1 month, or frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
