Happy November! Halloween is over, and I bet you still have plenty of candy left over. Unless you’re me. 😉

Today, I bring you the perfect no-bake recipe to use up all those leftover candies. Peanut Butter Candy Bars! These are no-bake, and will only take 20 minutes of your time to prepare. Refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight, then you’re ready to cut into squares and serve!

Peanut Butter Candy Bars

Ingredients

For the Oreo Layer

  • 20 Oreos
  • 60 g unsalted butter melted

For the Peanut Butter Layer

  • 370 g smooth peanut butter
  • 130 g unsalted butter softened
  • 220 g icing sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Chocolate Layer

  • 150 g milk chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
  • 3 - 4 KitKats broken in pieces
  • A handle of chocolate M&Ms

Instructions

For the Oreo Layer

  1. Line an 8x8" pan with parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Using a food processor, crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. Add the melted butter, and pulse a few times until the crumbs are wet. Pour the Oreo crumbs into the prepared pan, and use a spatula or spoon to gently press them into an even layer. Put in the fridge.

For the Peanut Butter Layer

  1. Using a handheld or stand mixer, beat together the peanut butter and butter until combined. Add the icing sugar and salt and beat until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture over the Oreo layer and spread out evenly. Put in the fridge.

For the Chocolate Layer

  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 10 seconds. When the chocolate is almost melted, add the peanut butter and microwave for another 10 - 20 seconds until smooth. Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread out evenly. Whilst the chocolate is still wet, cover the top with KitKats, and M&Ms. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Then cut into squares, and enjoy!

  1. We still have a lot of Halloween candy leftover and these candy bars are just the perfect treat to make to use them up! They look gorgeous, Marsha!
