Maltesers, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and Hobnobs covered in creamy dark chocolate!
These Rocky Roads are absolutely delicious. Melt-in-your-mouth, crunchy, chewy goodness. Beware, once you start eating them, they are moreish 😉
These make great treats for kids’ parties, or movie nights. Really, just any occasion!
I suggest cutting these into small pieces, because they are quite rich.
- 100 g butter
- 225 g plain chocolate
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 100 g Maltesers
- 100 g chocolate chips
- 100 g mini marshmallows
- 225 g Hobnobs you can use any kind of biscuit/cookie, broken up
- Icing sugar to decorate optional
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Gently heat the butter, chocolate, golden syrup, and sugar in a pan, until the sugar crystals disappear. Stir in the cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Leave to cool for 15 minutes.
Put the Maltesers, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and Hobnob pieces in a large bowl. Once the chocolate has cooled, pour into the bowl and mix everything together.
Pour into the prepared baking tray and spread evenly. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Turn out onto a board, sieve a little icing sugar over the top, then cut into small pieces. Keep in the fridge.
