A stack of four pieces of thick chocolate fudge pieces with one piece leaning up against it.

How to make Easy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • chocolate: Use your favourite chocolate! The one you love to eat on its own. That could be milk chocolate, dark, or even semi-sweet. You may even use two types of chocolate.
  • unsalted butter
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • vanilla extract

Place the chocolate and butter into a large microwave-safe bowl, and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each one, until melted and smooth.

Stir in the condensed milk and vanilla until combined. The mixture will become very thick at this point.

Spread the mixture into an 8×8-inch square baking pan lined with foil or parchment paper, and smooth out the top. Refrigerate for 2 – 4 hours or overnight until completely set before cutting into pieces.

This fudge looks so creamy and yummy! I love fudge and don’t make it often since I’d eat the whole darn thing myself, but I will be making this!

The first time I made fudge was when I was still a new cook and it was such a failure. I think I’d like to give it a try again, with your recipe. You make it look so simple!

What good quality chocolate do you use? Is it milk? Semi sweet?

I like to use milk or semi-sweet (Lindt or local shop brand), but you can totally use dark if you enjoy it ๐Ÿ™‚
