Sweet, and creamy peanut butter cheesecake bars topped with milk chocolate, with a thick Oreo crust!
I’ve never made cheesecake before, but these bars are so easy to make, you just can’t go wrong. They look impressive, and taste divine. Peanut butter and chocolate fan? You are going to love these!
For the topping, I used milk chocolate, but you can use dark chocolate, or even white chocolate! Whatever you prefer. You can even change the crust to your preferred cookie if you’d like.
Enjoy!
Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bars
For the Crust
- 9 oz Oreos
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter (85g, melted)
For the Filling
- 3/4 cup cream cheese (170g, room temperature)
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (306g)
- 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Glaze
- 5 oz milk chocolate (141g)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (56g)
- Preheat the oven to 350F/176C. Line an 8×8″ baking pan with parchment paper, or aluminium foil. Set aside.
- Process the Oreos in a food processor until finely crushed. Add the melted butter and pulse until evenly combined. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, using a hand or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese, condensed milk, and peanut butter until smooth. Mix in the vanilla and salt. Pour the mixture over the Oreo crust, and spread out evenly. Bake for 15 – 18 minutes, or until set. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
For the Glaze
- In a saucepan, melt the butter, and chocolate over medium heat until smooth. Pour over the cooled cheesecake and refrigerate until set. Cut into bars, and serve!

Thanks, Jess!
Chocolate and peanut butter is the most epic combination, and cheesecake just happens to be pretty much my favorite thing in the world. Clearly I need these in my life!
Thank you, Ashley! 🙂
I am not letting my 7 year old see this or he’s going to show up at your house!
Haha my 4 year old daughter loved these 🙂
Oh my word, this looks amazing. I just stopped my husband from buying a discount pack of Philadelphia cream cheese at the grocery today, poo pooing the idea that he’d really make cheesecake before we move out of our house this weekend. Totally regretting that decision now. YUM!
Oh no, I hope you get to make these before the move, I’d love to see! 🙂
Are you serious… this looks amazing. Thanks a lot, now I have to pin it and make it later!! Looks delicious! :o)
Thanks, Leah! You’re very welcome!

I love cheesecake but I have never made a baked cheesecake.

Ooo, I’m going to have to make these! It’s the perfect time of year for me to find your blog; I need to save some time this fall for baking!
Thank you, Julie! I hope you get to make these! 🙂
I’ve never made cheesecake, and I don’t HATE it but I don’t LOVE it either. This recipe makes cheesecake look decadent and delicious. I’ll have to try these and then remake them.
Do you mind if I reblog this?
Sure, go ahead! I’d love if you could link back to me as inspiration 🙂
Holy guacamole, I’m going to get fat just looking at your blog!
I love cheesecake. And these sound amazing. But I admit I have never made a baked cheesecake and have only ever tried one once. I don’t really have the facilities to make one here so I will have to get by looking at your lovely pics.
Thank you, Sam! I’ve never made a full-size cheesecake before, and it’s probably because I need to buy a proper pan for it 🙂
